Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. My name is Travis Allison and I teach 8th grade science. A little about me, I graduated from McGregor High School in 2012. I then attended Tarleton State University, where I studied Biology and was a member of the track team, competing in the high jump event. Two years later, I transferred to the University of Wyoming to further my education and to compete at the Division I level. I finished with my bachelors degree in Zoology there as well. Before landing down at La Vega, I worked in the mountains of Wyoming researching how food webs of aquatic communities change along a river gradient. I have also worked in a zoo, working primarily with fresh and saltwater fish. I look forward to meeting all my students this school year! This is my second year to be teaching at La Vega Junior High - George Dixon Campus, and I'm excited to get things rolling!!!
